Brake lever with parking brake lock button for Catrike, Wizwheelz, Scorpion recumbent trikes

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the brake lever for you. Locking brake levers have been available for years - just not in the correct leverage for V-brakes (which is the standard for Catrike, Wizwheelz, and HP Velotechnik Scorpion recumbent trikes.)
Owners of these trikes have watched in frustration as ICE, and Greenspeed owners quickly lock their brakes and walk away from the parked trike confident that it will still be there when they get back.
We've spent years of watching Catrike and Wizwheelz trike owners get frustrated, and shared the frustration of not being able to offer this feature to our own customers of these otherwise fine trikes. FINALLY, WE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
From now on, these locking parking brake levers will be standard equipment on recumbent trikes built up here at PBW using mechanical V-brake leverage disc brakes.
And we are not content to just put them on our own offerings. Anyone who wants to upgrade their trike is welcome to call and get a pair - no matter where they got it originally.
PBW is leading the way again, making useful upgrades available to the recumbent trike community at a modest cost.
