This is a rare item. A 155mm triple road crankset, with 30-42-52T aluminum chainrings, ordinary road 130 BCD / 74 BCD bolt pattern drilling, 155 crank length, and square taper bottom-bracket interface.

We had these cranks made to our specification in Taiwan to put on our recumbent trikes, and are making them available to any other recumbent bike or trike owner to upgrade their bicycle or tricycle. These cranks are highly polished, and the chainrings are pinned for excellent shifting.

Why are bicycle cranks 170mm? or 172.5? or 175?
Because, bicycle-racing men riding diamond frame bicycles found they worked well in the Tour de France.
Then, why do ordinary people (men and women), riding recumbent trikes to the grocery store use 170 cranks? or 172.5mm? or 175mm?
That's a good question. Not too many people have an answer. But, a lot of people have been questioning the validity of the paradigm for the ordinary Joe (or Josephine).
I first started putting short cranksets on PBW folding bikes, ordinarily when someone requested it, or specifically had an "issue", like bad knees. I never heard a complaint.
More recently, Greenspeed newsletters have been extolling the virtues of these cranks, and most recumbent cyclists agree, they beat the heck out of the standard-issue 170's.
