Touring Trike with 26" Drivewheel
This trike maintains the seating position of the 20" suspended version of the Trice T, but swaps the smaller drive-wheel and rear suspension unit for a 26" MTB wheel housed in a non-suspension fork.
Commute or tour the world and really see it at the same time. The T trades comfort and high-seated position for aerodynamics.
Component options are roughly the same as with the 20" suspended version:
- For the budget-minded you can get the older style Microshift / Shimano-compatible components with half-length twist shifters and rear Deore derailleur.
- The standard-issue SRAM X9 component series with twist-shifters are available for a bump-up in price.
- Of course, you can get the Dura-Ace bar-end shifters with XT rear derailleur and 105 front for a bit more.
- And, finally, we want you to get the right trike for you. If you need customization with Rohloff, Schlumpf, one-handed controls, disc brakes, Bionx electrification kits, or whatever, we have the expertise to make it happen.
Like most trikes offered by PBW, these trikes will come standard with our own locking parking brake levers installed AT NO ADDITIONAL EXPENSE (unless you just prefer it with velcro straps, which is fine, too).
Shipping is available to most parts of the continental U.S.

Why a 26" rear wheel ?
Big back wheels on Trice have been around since 1990 and have always had a dedicated following. The more conventional MTB wheel size integrates easily with industry standard cycle components giving an economic route to a good range of gears. Ride quality over a non-suspended small wheeled trike is improved. Rolling resistance of larger wheels is generally agreed to be better though we have not proven this ourselves. One thing is for sure, It certainly looks fast!
The other big advantage is the lower starting price for the Trice T 26 due to the simplified non-suspended and non-folding rear frame. Cost is also reduced when it comes to adding a rear carrier for luggage capacity as the rack we offer for the 26 is a simple standard unit designed for use on diamond frame bikes.
What is this trike about? The Trice T is a sedate and refined touring trike from ICE. It has a higher seat than the Trice Q making it a little easier to get on and off. Carefully chosen components and meticulous attention to detail in the construction of the part steel, part aluminium frame makes this trike fantastic value for money.
T stands for Tour and this trike is an excellent choice for cruising along your favorite trails. The T maneuvers easily and the big 26" rear wheel rolls well even on uneven pavement. It is very unlikely you will have ever ridden in such comfort and this machine will put a smile on your face every time you ride it.
How comfortable is it?
The super-breathable mesh seat has lumbar and shoulder support to provide day-long comfort. This seat gives great support to your back and the angle adjustment of the seat ensures your neck and spine will not feel the strain of a long days cycling. Long rides are much more enjoyable if you are comfortable, and lunch at that beautiful view point is much nicer if you already have somewhere to sit.
Big ground clearance with aero performance
If you are looking for a machine with the T’s specifications, but with a hard shell seat, the Standard ICE hard shell can be fitted to the Trice T. This seat has even more angle adjustment so you can ride sat up or very reclined.
How do I store it or transport it?
Though the 26" rear frame does not fold, the seat can still be quickly removed, as can the rear wheel and rear mudguard if fitted. The additional QR kit can also be fitted to give tool-less removal of the front wheels, front mudguards, sliding of the front boom and folding down of the handle bars. The result is a trike that can still be made to fit inside most cars with the rear seats folded.
The rear frame section is removable and so for the more serious trip the trike can be fully split down for the most compact package.
Price includes a mirror, a flag, and a full set of chain tubes to keep the oil on the chain and off of you.
A great range of accessories are also available from ICE for the Trice T, so you can select from the list of extras to enhance your machine.
The Trice T is only recommended for riders of body weight up to 252 lbs, (18 st., 114 kg). This is the weight of the rider only, not including the trike, accessories or luggage.
